Venom

If it were not for Venom, definitely do not hear many of today's metal bands of today. Many musicians have declared, as the James Hetfield of Metallica, which Cronos, Mantas and Abaddon were his biggest influences. The band, which started in the '80s, pioneered satanic lyrics and the visual used by many extreme metal musicians today. The very appearance of the name is credited to the Black Metal Venom, when the song was released the same name. Along with Hellhammer / Celtic Frost and Btahory, Venom began the scene by both the extreme weight of his sound as for their influence on bands that were born.
For Brazil the band had a great importance since the show Venom in 86 is considered one of the first metal shows (the first heavy metal), giving us a push in the metal scene.
Few groups have a history as rich as the Venom. An unassuming trio that became an icon for at least two generations of metal and for almost all followers of extreme music.

In 1982 the band released the masterpiece Black Metal, which gave a final name to a style that had just been invented. You could say that this is the most important album in the history of style, a source of inspiration today.

(Cronos) - (Venom) and Lemmy - (Motorhead).
