Funeral

Funeral was formed in 1991 by drummer (then guitarist) Anders Eek Angell and Thomas is certainly one of the hottest traditional and pioneer of the doom metal funeral doom.
In 1994, Toril Snyen (vocals) joined the band, and the demo 'Beyond All Sunsets' was recorded. That caught the attention of the Norwegian label Arctic Serenades, which led to the release of "Tragedies, " in 1995. These releases have resulted in variation of Doom Metal, Funeral Doom call.

Unfortunately had many lineup changes and low as the bassist Einar Frederiksen's suicide in 2003, which led the band to sit still for a year and a half. Three years after the guitarist Christian Loos was found dead at his home. Even with all that the band is still active in today with the sound a little different, because today no longer has female vocals, but still with a high level sound.
