Ea - unknown funeral doom metal band. Ea’s lyrics are written in a dead language which was recreated according to the results of archeological study and their concept is based on the sacral texts of ancient civilizations. Not to be confused with polish drone/ambient band with the same name.
The third album of this enigmatic band combines the conceptions laid in their previous albums: exalted lightness of Ea Taesse and severe darkness of II. Unique atmosphere of Ea fuses epic funeral doom with atmospheric ambient adding touch of classical music to the work’s canvas.

Melancholic piano, beautiful guitar solos and choirs create a monumental memorial to ancient civilizations bringing their echoes in enchanting Ea music.
The epilogue of Ea trilogy is the start of the path to the roots of the World.

Ahab

Ahab is a German funeral doom metal band founded in 2004 by Midnattsol guitarists Christian Hector and Daniel Droste and former Endzeit guitarist Stephan Adolph. The band is named after Captain Ahab, a character in the novel Moby Dick by Herman Melville. Along with its name, the band also draws thematic and lyrical inspiration from Moby Dick – some songs even feature direct quotations from the book.

Worship

Worship is a Funeral Doom Metal band from Germany and follows a more minimalist style not to use the bass and keyboard (except for a few piano parts).
The band released in 1992 gave more of a cult today Funeral Doom Metal, "Last Tape Before Doomsday", which is indispensable for any tanner style worth its salt.
The band, originally formed by Fucked Up Mad Max and Doommonger until "Fucked-Up Mad Max"(Maximilien Varnier) committed suicide on June 23, 2001, jumping from a bridge in Canada.
So the band spent a few years out of activity until they returned in 2004 with Doommonger on vocals and the first full album "Dooom" after a series of splits with many now famous bands like Agathocles, MournfulCongregation and Wither.

Worship is certainly one of the exponents of funeral doom metal. Unfortunately most of the Splits have a badproduction, but the soul of the band is in them, which ensures excellent music. Highly recommended.

Johan Ericson is a multi-instrumentalist and producer, and has several projects of his own. The most famous of these is Draconian, a band of gothic / doom created by him in 1994. Johan is not the kind of music is limited, this musical need awoke in him the desire to make a totally dark and personal, there appeared Doom: VS.
