Sorcier Des Glaces was created in 1997 with the interest of doing a kind of "tribute" to early Black Metal, that goal has always remained the same since that time. This is a whole concept obsessed by misanthropy, infused with a total black hate for humanity.

Doesn’t claim to be original and don’t try to prove something to the black metal scene. This is a total dedication to the old feeling of early Black Metal, without interference of so-called "new elements" in music or "progression".

Ataraxie

Ataraxie is an extreme Doom/Death Metal band from France (Rouen).
Ataraxie plays a dark, oppressive, melancholic music, alternating slow and heavy passages with raging death metal blasts (thus it is reductive to sum up our music to that !)
Main influences : Early and Recent My Dying Bride (from "As The Flowers Withers" to "Turn Loose the Swans" and since TLATEOTW), Evoken, Shape Of Despair, Morgion, Thergothon, Morbid Angel (to name only a few).
